Jumma Mubarak to all Muslims

Friday is the sixth day in Islamic week. Jumma Mubarak means ‘Blessed Friday’ and Friday is considered a blessed day for Muslims. On this day, Muslims not only have a congregational prayer, but they also listen to a lecture and make special prayers to get the most out of Allah’s blessings.

It is being said by our Our Prophet Muhammad (Salal laho alihi wasalam),

The best day the sun rises over is Friday; on it Allah created Adam. On it, he was made to enter paradise, on it he was expelled from it, and the Last Hour will take place on no other day than Friday”.
 [Ahmad and At-Tarmithi]

From various hadith, it is proven that Hazrat Muhammad (Salal laho alihi wasalam) used to celebrate this day and he declared jumma Mubarak as weekly Eid for Muslims. He (Salal laho alihi wasalam) used to wear clean and new (washed) clothes, used to take bath, Used to perfume, used to surmah for this day.

Hazrat Muhammad (Salal laho alihi wasalam) described the virtues of Jumma Mubarak prayer in the following hadith with these words;

“When the Friday comes, at every door of the Masjid there stands Angels who write down those who come first, then who comes next. When the Imam sits down, the records are closed and they come to listen to the reminder, the Khutba”
Muslim 1984.

Muslims offer Jumma Mubarak prayer on Friday. All the prayers of that day should be accepted and appreciated because of the unity of all the Muslims in one Masjid. …………………………

Dear almighty, forgive us all our sins, great and small, the first and the last, those that are apparent and those that are hidden. O Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and defend us from the torment of the Fire......

O Allah, bestow wisdom on us, and join us with the righteous. Grant us an honorable mention in later generations. Place us among the inheritors of the Garden of Delight. Do not put us to shame on the Day when all shall be raised from the dead......

O Our Lord, we only obey you as your subjects and we only request help from you. Head us to the right path. Lead us to the path of those who you provided with blessings and not the path of those who have been punished and those who have steered away.O Allah, lead us to the right path.

Allah Almighty the Exalted enjoins: “O you who believe! Fear Allah. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow.

O Allah, give me eyes that see the best in people, a heart that forgives the worse, a mind that forgets the bad, and a soul that never loses faith.O Allah, lead us to the right path.O Allah, lead us to the right path. Ameen.
